Case Study

As an example, we acted as mediators in a complex dispute on a power generating facility between the supplier of the generators and their subcontractors carrying out the civil portion of the works. One party wrote "This mediation was an extremely difficult enterprise to complete and involved not only the usual contractual differences between the parties, but it also involved significant cultural differences between the parties which put an added pressure on your role - it was clearly your personal involvement with your ability to think laterally and your persistence in the fact of strong intransigence that achieved final settlement in the dispute".
