Baha Mar Plans for Late March Opening
Baha Mar, the new $3.5 billion resort, will introduce a new era of luxury, glamour, gaming and excitement to The Bahamas when it begins hosting paid guests on March 27, 2015, at Baha Mar Casino & Hotel, Rosewood at Baha Mar and SLS LUX at Baha Mar. Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar will open shortly after. The property announced the opening with the debut of a new video called "The Voyage," introducing the resort as the "New Riviera."
The Baha Mar, the largest and most anticipated project in the region for some time, first broke ground in 2011.
BCQS has been providing quantity surveying services in support of the Baha Mar Project team and Aecom and currently has a team of four surveyors based in Bahamas on the project.

Baha Mar is slated to include 2,200 rooms spread across four hotels: a Grand Hyatt, an SLS Lux, a Rosewood and a flagship Baha Mar Hotel and Casino. It will also include a residential component. The property additionally features a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course that recently joined the TPC portfolio.
China's State Construction Engineering Corporation built the project and is an equity investor in the project.
