FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
18th March 2008 BCQS ANNNOUNCES ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT
“Chris has ten years experience providing professional quantity surveying and project management services to both public and private sector clients,” says Liam Day, BCQS Director. “This experience coupled with his hard work and commitment, meant the promotion to Associate Director was a natural step. Chris will play a key role, working closely with clients, architects, engineers and contractors to provide the top-level service they have come to expect of BCQS,” he adds. Chris currently specialises in cost planning, contract procurement, value and risk management, and full pre and post-contract delivery of projects. He has been involved with a number of high profile projects with BCQS in Cayman, including the construction of the Ritz Carlton Hotel and Residences, the new National Gallery of the Cayman Islands, Exclusive Island Resort, Margaritaville, and most recently the West Wind Building redevelopment on Harbour Drive. Prior to joining BCQS in 2003, Chris worked for London-based firm Davis Langdon & Everest, where he successfully progressed from Graduate Surveyor to Senior Quantity Surveyor. During that time, he passed his professional Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors’ exams, to become fully chartered. Whilst at Davis Langdon & Everest, Chris worked on many major developments including the 45-storey HSBC European Headquarters Tower, Canary Wharf, London and 20-storey MoorHouse, Moorgate, London. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying and Economics from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh and he is currently an Executive Council member of the Cayman Society of Architects, Surveyors and Engineers (CASE). “I am very excited about my new role and the responsibility that comes with it,” says Chris Graham. “I look forward to developing the business further and ensuring each client’s development is managed properly to bring them value for money and peace of mind.” He continues, “BCQS is an excellent company to work for and the long-term career prospects are unlimited as the company continues to expand in the Caribbean.” Chris has lived in Grand Cayman for just over four years with his wife and young son and he greatly enjoys the sporting lifestyle Cayman offers. When he is not at the office, Chris can be found diving, playing in the squash leagues, training for the triathlon, or simply enjoying family time.
